BOOKING YOUR SPA APPOINTMENT
You can book your appointment on site or by phone. All spa bookings must be guaranteed with a major credit card, including bookings with a Gift Certificate.
CHECK IN / PUNCTUALITY
As our punctuality is important, so is yours. Please arrive at Heed Spa 15 minutes prior to your appointment time, so you will have time for your consultation and you can unwind enjoy your transition into Heed World.
CANCELATION / RESCHEDULE / LATE/ NO SHOW
We know that the unexpected happens, if you must cancel or reschedule an appointment a MINIMUM 24 HOURS prior notice is required. NO PHONE MESSAGES WILL BE ACCEPTED ONLY PHONE CALLS DURING BUSINESS HOURS AND E-MAILS.
When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on the heed spa and independent therapist calendar that is no longer available for other guests. In order to be respectful of your fellow guest, please call the spa as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.
If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 24 hours before your appointment for no penalty.
If you cancel with in the 24 hours of appointment you will be charged $25 per person.
Please call us as soon ass possible to reschedule.
If you are running late, please give us a call (no e-mail please) and we will accommodate your treatment to the remaining time left, but the full value of the treatment will be charged.
No Show – No Call will be charged $25 per person
Please note that if you fail to contact us as described above, or to show up for the treatment as scheduled, your credit card will be charged
This policy also applies for Gift Certificate/ Gift Card booking as well.
SPA GIFT CERTIFICATES / SPA GIFT CARD
Heed Gift Certificates and Gift Cards are honored at Heed Spa. They are not redeemable for cash and will not be replaced if lost, stolen or have been used by an unauthorized person. They should not be altered under any circumstances.
A valid credit card number is required to guarantee the appointment even when using a Spa Gift Certificate or Spa Gift Card for payment. We will only charge the credit card if you are a no-show or cancelling with in the 24 hour window.
The actual Gift Certificate/Card must be presented at check in.
A Spa Gift Certificate or Spa Gift Card for a specific treatment is actually a suggestion, feel free to change it. If you have a gift card for a treatment that we no longer offer, you can select any other treatment from our menu or you can use it at Heed spa.
Gift Certificates purchased on online – Credit can only be used for spa treatments/ Services
The gift certificate is only redeemable by recipient. No re-gifting of gift certificate .
Note that Heed Spa’s Cancellation / Reschedule / Late policy also applies to Spa Gift Certificate / Spa Gift Card appointments. Please read the Cancellation / Reschedule / Late policy above.

PROMOTION /SEASON PROMOTION/ SALES/ DEALS
Season promotion is valid

To redeem the promotion it must be booked during the valid dates only. Mandatory service fee (18%-20% of original service price) will be automatically added this fee does not qualify for discount. Seasonal promotion may not be combined with any other coupons, discounts, offers. Once promotion date is expired this promotion is no longer valid and the service is charged at regular price from the menu/website. No rain checks. Other restrictions may apply.
At Heed Spa we accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
GRATUITY/ SERVICE CHARGE
Our prices on the menu and promotions do not include gratuity. Mandatory service charge is added to your bill. 18% – 20% service charge will be added. Your caring therapist will highly appreciate your gratitude. We are confident that you will be entirely satisfied, but if for any reason you are unhappy with our services, please let us know. We are here to serve you and your satisfaction is very important to us.
ON THE DAY OF YOUR TREATMENT
Please try not to eat for at least an hour before your treatment. Avoid sun exposure. Avoid the consumption of alcohol before the treatment. Drink plenty of water, especially after any heat or detox therapy. If you are having a facial and must shave your face, do so at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Avoid wearing perfume, because it can interfere with aromatherapy treatments.
HEALTH CONDITIONS AND SPECIAL NEEDS
An honest communication is key for a great treatment. When booking your treatment, please let us know of any injury, discomfort or allergy. Also inform us if you are using any medication or Retin-A or Accutane, if you had a recent surgery, or if you are pregnant or there is a possibility of pregnancy. Note: Florida law prohibits LMT (Massage Therapist) to massage any client that is not over 12 weeks pregnant.
We provide comfortable sanitized sandals, bamboo/organic cotton robes, disposable undergarments and clean bath towels. If you prefer you can bring your swimsuit, but please be aware that although we will take every precaution possible, we cannot be responsible for stains caused by products used in the treatments.
Sorry, but no children under 16. We are happy to accommodate teens over 16, but they must be accompanied by a Parent/Legal Guardian.
We love pets, but unfortunately they are by law not allowed in spa facilities.
All cell phones, beepers and pagers must be turned off in the spa, respecting your and others’ serene time. If you are expecting an emergency call, please let us know and put your phone on silent or vibrate mode at all times.
We ask you not to talk on cell phones at any time inside the spa. And please keep live conversations at low volume, in respect to other client’s relaxation time.
Heed Spa is a 100% smoke free environment. No smoking is allowed anywhere in the premises.
We recommend against bringing valuables to the spa. We are not responsible for any items left behind.

When you sign up for services with Heed Spa or make a purchase on our website, you will be asked to provide contact and payment information. HOW DO WE COLLECT PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION?
We either collect personally identifying information ourselves, through registration, signup or order forms, or we use a third-party to collect that information on our behalf, only as necessary to conduct a transaction.
For the rest of this Privacy Statement, the words “we,” “our,” or “Heed Spa” shall mean Heed Spa.
We collect traffic patterns and information from our web servers, but this information is not combined or used with or in conjunction with personally identifiable information.
We collect third-party personally identifying information when our customers provide us with the email address of a gift recipient (i.e. the lucky recipient of a gift certificate).

We only use personally identifying information to conduct, facilitate or in furtherance of a transaction. For example, we use personally identifying information to charge a credit card for services. We may also send transactional notices to a purchaser and their gift recipient(s), including reminders that a service or gift certificate has not yet been redeemed.

When you opt in or register with us, we will send you information and marketing messages such as newsletters, specials, promotions, gift giving ideas, or information about topics of interest in the areas of wellbeing, sustainable living, health, personal growth, beauty and other similar related areas.
We may aggregate limited demographic information, purchasing behaviors or web traffic patterns. This information will not be tied or traceable to any personally identifying information.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION?

All credit card information is encoded and protected using multiple layers of network security, including firewall protection. Offline, personally identifying information is also protected in our offices.
